about 1½ cups

This salsa verde is fresh and bright, and pairs well with just about anything that goes with regular red tomato-based salsa. This recipe uses green tomatoes, which can be found at the market around fall.

  • 3 cups chopped green tomatoes
  • ¼ cup minced white onion
  • ¼ cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 2 tbsp minced jalapeno
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano
  • Que Pasa Salted Corn Tortilla Chips, for serving
  1. Pulse all ingredients in a blender or food processor until desired consistency is achieved. If your tomatoes are extra juicy, you may need to drain excess liquid through a fine mesh strainer.
  2. Serve immediately or store in the fridge until ready to use.
